Can I move a iPad purchased movie to my pc?

So I bought (not rented) a movie on the go on my iPad, when I tried to sync with my pc, it flashed a warning that all content on the iPad would be lost!!!

Is here a way for me to get this movie moved to my pc library?

It sounds like you tried to sync it with a different PC than you did the first time.

You should be able to right click the iPad in the iTunes sidebar and choose "Transfer Purchases."

I would think you should be able to save it in the iTunes library. Just as if when you purchase a song on the fly and sync, it is added to your iTunes library on the Mac or pc.

I just purchased Avatar on my iPad. After I transferred purchases to my Mac the movie is now on my mac and still on my ipad. I would have thought the movie could only be on one device.
