Hi,

I recently transferred all of my songs to an external drive and left my iPhone stuff in the default local folder.

When I did this I changed the default path (users/user/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media) in the iTunes Media Folder Location option to the folder in my external HD, but I noticed that every time I disconnect my drive and open iTunes it goes back to the default path (users/user/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media).

So, I was wondering if it is because I didn't move my iPhone stuff (the iTunes Media folder) to the new location where my i tunes are.

Is it possible to move my iPhone stuff to an external HD without loosing my apps, notes etc?

Is there a way to force iTunes to remember my new location (the external HD)?

Thanks

You could move your iPhone backup from your computer to an external hard drive. I've done that, any times.

Good luck,
