So far, every time I upgrade to new version of MacOS, my carefully curated and positioned desktop pictures for each workspace is replaced by the system desktop pictures. Is there a way that I preserve my desktop pictures configuration when upgrading to Catalina from Mojave?

I did a few Web searches and came up dry.

Oddly enough, upgrading to Catalina is the first OS upgrade that didn't replace my Desktop pictures with new ones from the OS.

Also good is that iTunes track ratings and Apple Match are also intact!
