Can i put a B&N ebook on iBooks?

Hey everyone,

So i have a barnes and noble gift card and i want to buy "Return to the Little Kingdom" as an ebook from barnes and noble and throw it onto iBooks for my iPad. Anyway of going about that? I'm pretty positive you can, I just don't know how lol any help is appreciated.

Barnes & Nobel has their own eReader app for their own ebooks.

It's currently iPhone only.
They say an iPad version is "coming soon." That was four weeks ago. <shrug>

So it cant be imported into iBooks? Dang, I prefer having it on iBooks

It will involve stripping the DRM, but I bet there is a method somewhere on the internet.

I buy all my books in Kindle format as it works on many platforms: PC, Mac, iPhone/iPod Touch, iPad, Blackberry. If you have a B&N card, why not use it for something else and buy the book you want on Kindle? BTW, Kindle really is slightly better than iBooks. To get reverse video on iBooks (for night reading without waking up my wife), I must go to settings->accessibility options and put the entire OS into reverse video before opening iBooks. Clunky. On the Kindle iPad app, reverse video is one click away. Granted there are more fonts available in iBooks but for functionality, selection as well as cross-platform ability to read the books you paid for Kindle is the big winner.
