can i re-download a purchased app?

as title says really, I lost my copy of tweetie 2 off my phone and iTunes (don't ask how I dunno lol) can I redownload the app without being charged for it again? I bought it roughly when it was released.... dunno if that effects anything

Of course you can, you paid for it! Some greedy devs put out updates requiring payment again but that is not too often. If they do, people complain very loudly in the iTunes reviews.

I've actually intentionally downloaded to iTunes apps that went free for a limited time so if I decided I wanted it later even if it went back up I could use it.

Also it let's you delete an app you don't want and get it again for free if they add a feature you now think makes it worthwhile.
