Can I receive Facebook notifications this way?

I do not want notifications to my email. I want notifications on the phone's app.

If I go on my laptop and uncheck notifications to email, will I still be able to get notificed on the phone? Thanks.

I thought so too. But isn't the app linked to my email? So if I disable email notfications, does that mean I won't get notified in the phone's app as well? Thanks.

I turned off e-mail notifications and still get them on the phone app.
