Hello everyone

I never download my emails on my computers but only use Gmail online using G Suite (or whatever it's called these days).

I've managed to set up Gmail so that I can send iCloud emails from Gmail online. But is it possible to also receive iCloud emails through Gmail online?

Perhaps this is a setting in Gmail that I haven't found so I would much appreciate some help.

Thank you in advance
Philip

You can add other accounts but I've never tried an iCloud account. I don't know if there's documentation on how frequently it checks other accounts for mail.

Thank you for the reply Brian. It seems it is not possible to do. It's got to do with Gmail using POP3 and iCloud using IMAP, as I understand it. The closest one gets seems to be to auto-forward iCloud messages to Gmail.

The gmail app does support POP3, but it also supports IMAP... in fact, I have the gmail app on my phone and do have an iCloud (@me.com) email address added to it. It is most definitely possible.

Now, using the gmail webmail interface may be an entirely different story, but it is NOT because of any conflict or inconsistency between POP3 and IMAP.
