Well i was all excited yesterday! Order my i7 27" iMac from apple. I had someone coming by to buy my i7 Desktop PC last night, guy came by with another guy and it was nothing but a headache...2 hours and they completely wasted my time, So plans have fell thru and i have not sold off my Desktop PC ( which was going to fund my iMac )

So i can either hit the Cancel button now, or wait it out and see if my PC sells.

I was wondering, If i just let it ship and when it arrives if my PC has not sold, Will i be able to walk the iMac UNOPENED into a apple store and get a FULL refund? or do i need to ship it back? and also, is there a restocking fee if i DO NOT open it?

My PC may sell by the time it arrives, so that would be great, but if not i do not want to be stuck with my PC and the iMac ( cannot afford both )

No, you cannot. They can't give you the money they never got from you. You have to send it back and wait for refund (may take some time now due BTS promo).

If it's unopened, no restocking fee will be charged

well i actually applied for the no interest financing they offer on the apple site (i forgot what card it is ) so i didnt actually pay cash.

Ok so i cannot bring it in to the apple store and wait for the refund ( however may days it takes )

i just want to avoid shipping it back to them, Much rather walk it into the local store

I dont mind waiting a week or however long for the refund to the credit card.

You can't. They are not the same even though both are under Apple name. They could be able to handle the case i.e. take your information and then send it to Apple but that would just take longer time. Shipping doesn't cost you anything, just call them and tell that you want to return it. Or just click cancel now and avoid the whole refund issue. Then when you have sold the PC, order it again.

As far as I know, you can't return online purchases at a retail store, It won't hurt to call the store to check.

You have to call 1-800-676-2775 for a Return Material Authorization (RMA). After you get an RMA code, you will have 14 days to return your imac to the warehouse.
