I am about to take a bus trip today and want to watch a few movies so if I rent a movie from itunes will it be in iPad format? I have never done this and want to know if i can get a few movies before I go in a few hrs thanks

You can but you would have to download the movie to your iPad before you leave unless your bus has wifi. The movies are over 1 GB so they take a while to download.

1gb thats not to bad, Do I need to download it on the iPad or can I do it from the computer first?
 
This is good to know if true. Though I don't rent movies or shows at all.

Believe me - it's true. I have three movie rentals waiting on my ipad as we speak that I'd dearly love to have on my appletv instead.

However you can link them with the av cable if you've got one (which I don't).
 
Rent

Before a flight I always rent several movies from Itunes to my Imac. Then put them on either mine or my wife's Ipad to watch on the plane. Sure makes the flight more enjoyable.
