Hi--

I am considering buying my wife an iPod Nano (with engraving) for Xmas. However, if she doesn't want it or would rather upgrade to the video iPod, can I return the engraved Nano? Apple.com hasn't returned my question.

Thanks

If memory serves me correct once its engraved its like a suit that has been tailored to fit you, non returnable. Figure it this way would you be willing to buy a used nano from the apple store that said "i love you snookums" on it? They wouldn't be able to resell it.

Edit: They are not Returnable http://www.apple.com/legal/sales_policies/retail.html "Custom-configured products, including any personalized iPod, cannot be returned or exchanged."

I didn't know if engraved iPods fell into the "refurbished" catagory since the would only need to pop off the back side of the case and replace that.

Thanks, I couldn't find the legal page when I first looked. I think I'm going to get it anyway. I figure, if she doesn't like it, then at least I can keep it, right?!?!?
