I already own Parallels but for graphic intensive games, I still use my PC. It's in my room here next to my mac, but I plan on putting it downstairs in the rec room soon.
Is there any way I can run applications (games) from my Vista based PC over my home network from my iMac? For example I want to play The Witcher. Could I put the disc in my vista pc in the rec room (or load up a disc image) and run the game, but interact and actually play it via my Mac? Think VNC for gaming.
My home network is a Dlink DGL-4300. Both systems are connected via wired gigabit ethernet. I have plans to upgrade to an Apple Airport Express soon, along with a gigabit switch to handle the wired overflow.
I wouldn't mind sitting infront of the PC for gaming but it has a 17" LCD display, which belittles in comparison to my iMac's 24" display. I figured if the lag wasn't too bad, this may be a cheaper alternative?
