I have a mac mini and a G4 tower. how can I share a bluetooth keybord between 2 systems? a kvm is out of the question since wireless usb is the only wireless they support.

You can, but I think you have to re-pair each time.

Pair the keyboard with both systems (setup bluetooth device)

then to switch use setup bluetooth device each time. should be able to do it relatively quickly once you've paired.
 
not sure what your monitor situation is, but check out synergy, basically its a software KM (doesnt help with video).

I have a dell 2005fpw widescreen lcd. same LG lcd part that apple uses in their 20" screen and 20" imac. synergy works with bluetooth?
