Yes. No need to try out Mojave at all.
High Sierra directly to Catalina is absolutely supported.
You can even go directly from Mavericks (OS X 10.9) to Catalina, if you wanted to do that.

Thought I would point out that Mojave would likely be more stable than Catailina right now.
(be sure you have a current backup before you upgrade!)

You can indeed skip Mojave. However, Mojave is far more stable than Catalina is right now.. you’d be better off staying on Mojave.

Agree with revmacian in post 3 above.

If you have "the urge to upgrade", I'd suggest Mojave for now. It's mature and stable.
Catalina -- perhaps not so much.
