Hello,

I ordered a 16gb iPad on June 6 for delivery on June 24. I want to just get a 16/32gb iPad at the apple store as my friend just got a 32gb iPad. Can I get the iPad at the apple store and still get unlimited 3g plan as I ordered one before the 7th deadline?

Thanks.

Who knows? All I can tell you is that AT&T is still offering the unlimited plan as of today. No one knows when they will stop offering it and no one knows how they will determine who was eligible because they bought before the cutoff date.

If I had to guess I would say that they will cut it off at the end of this month or at the latest sometime next month. It would seem to me that anyone who ordered their iPad before the June 7th deadline would receive their iPad by the end of this month and I don't believe AT&T has a system of determining who ordered before that date. So to make it easy they have stated that the unlimited plan is going away but are likely giving users a grace period of a month or so to sign up for the plan.

I've been reading posts that iPads bought after June 7th are able to get the $30 Unlimited Plan.

My 3G should arrive this Wednesday (per FedEx tracking). It was ordered May 28th. Hopefully the unlimited data plan will be an option like AT&T says.

I bought one yesterday from Best Buy and Unlimited was an option.
