There doesn't appear to be a way to do this, but wanted to see if anyone has found a workaround?

I have a Family account, and it seems unnecessarily difficult to view family purchased shows/movies in the TV app on iOS. It appears to only work when the movie is actually downloaded to the device. Is there any way to allow streaming for content that is purchases from other devices in the family plan. I have movies purchased and it's a pain in the neck for my wife to get to them on her iPad.

Thanks!

Hi
i decided to check this out after your comment and you are right, it's a major PITA.
I haven't managed to do it either.
I think a work around is to give her the account details for the family manager- you I imagine- or whatever the account is that the shows have been bought on.
She can sign out of her account on the TV app (it is separate to itunes and music) sign in with the manager's account and then you can stream to the device in the TV app.
It is still a pfaff though and like a lot of things on family sharing, the idea is good but it is simply cluncky to use.
Best

I can simply play or download the content.

Has she tried searching for this content within the TV app?
