Can I substitute a MySQL database for a Microsoft Database file?

I'm not sure how the script is read in either format, but if they are read the same way, I should be able to create an identical MySQL database and just redirect my script to read the MySQL database instead of the mdb one.

If that is possible, my next question will be how do I create a MySQL database?

There are tons of MySQL tutorials on the net. If you have it installed, it is invoked by typing "'mysql" at the terminal window... Check this site out for tutorials:
