can i sync eyetv250 with my PS3?

I am wanting to us my mac as a PVR. I have read that eyetv 250 will do this however i dont know if it will sync with my PS3. I am wanting to send all the tv shows that i have recorded on eyetv from my imac to my ps3 so i can watch it on my regular tv in my living room. Is this possible? I was told i need appletv to do this, however i have already spent alot of money on a PS3, so I was hoping to avoid having to purchase appletv.
