I'm sure I heard something like that before. Does anyone know how I can contact Adobe (or someone) so that I can switch a Windows PS for a Mac OS X version?

ps exchange

I just recently made the exchange but I had previously owned PS 6.0 for windows so they said I would have to upgrade to CS2 for mac. Ff you have an older version of PS you may have to upgrade too. My one complaint with this process is that it's taking quite a while. My new boxed copy is supposed to arrive tomorrow but that will make 2 weeks since I initiated the exchange with Adobe. They don't allow software downloads for exchanges.

I just thought of something, I wonder if they will allow me to exchange again once the software is ported to x86 and I buy an intel mac. You might ask them how many exchanges are allowed.

I contacted them through customer service 800-833-6687.

This will probably (based on past actions, not on any solid information) be a paid for upgrade for existing Mac customers :(

Thanks for the input folks. I ask because a friend of mine out in Japan is thinking about making the switch to the Mac OS, possibly to a desktop, and is wondering if he'll have to pay for Photoshop again. I was pretty certain I heard that there was some trade in program that Adobe initiated. I'll get back to him later today with the phone number.
