Can I transfer all my apps to a new Mac?

Hello,

I'm buying a new Mac. I've got a ton of apps, including a download of Photoshop that's registered on my old machine. How do I copy all my apps over? Library? Receipts? Preferences?

Migration Assistant. It will be part of the Setup Assistant you'll have to run the first time you start up the new computer. Basically you'll connect the computers via FireWire, Ethernet, or Airport (I strongly recommend FireWire) and it will transfer your User account, Applications, Files, and Network settings (or you can choose not to transfer any of those categories). It works beautifully.
