Can I turn off the screen sleep/dimmer and put it on screen saver?

I'm not entirely sure what you're asking, but between the Energy Saver pane and the Screen Saver subpane of the Desktop & Screen Saver pane of System Preferences, you should be able customize screen saver, display sleep, and system sleep however you want.
