Does anyone have any suggestions for unlocking a Verizon iPhone 4s for use on T-Mobile?

I have called Verizon a couple of times, but they only want to unlock it for international use. I want to use it domestically.

I get an error when I insert the T-Mobile SIM card that it is not valid with my phone's activation policy, so I can tell it hasn't been unlocked by Verizon.

Does anyone have experience with unlocking services for something like this?

Thanks!

Unless something has changed, Verizon will unlock your phone if you own it outright or if you're off contract and your account is in good standing.

That is false.
Before you answer at least be sure of what you're telling them is correct.
Verizon will NOT unlock a 4S for US domestic use.
Only for international gsm carriers.

Correct. They only unlock for international GSM use. I knew that much, but I wanted to confirm for anyone else who comes across this thread.
