Can I Unwrap A Cider Wrapped Skyrim and Play in Windows 7?

I have played a bit of the game in OSX on my imac with a Radeon 4850 512mb. I can't help but think the game would play better under windows 7. I have windows 7 installed through boot camp, but I couldn't find a working version of Skyrim on any of the torrent sites. I know the version I am playing on mac is essentially a full version of the game with a wrapper, so I am curious to know if I remove the wrapper would the game play normally in windows 7. Before I go and waste a double layer dvd I thought I should ask and see if anyone knows if it will work or not.
