can i upgrade after unlocking with ziphone.

i got an iphone from carphone warehouse with the £100 reduction.

i activated it and unlocked it with ziphone. and then i discovered that carphone warehouse have some old stock as it has 1.1.2.

can i upgrade 1.1.4 with it remaining unlocked?

Once you update the iPhone the unlock, activation and jailbreak will be gone. However, you can still use ZiPhone once again to do all those things again.

Aside from that, ZiPhone is a good tool, but there are better tools out there like iLiberty and iPlus. Consider those also, or you can use Pwnage tool which is by far the safest method to date.

You shouldn't EVER recommend ZiPhone!

We have been through the problems it can cause.

If you can't understand Pwnage then iLiberty+ is the way to go.

Well, I can't recommend against something I've used and worked with some people. However, I acknowledge the problems ZiPhone has brought and that is why I recommend other tools, however, denying it was 'once' a good tool is like saying Earth is flat.
