Im not getting great frame rates for some things i want to do with my MBP. Has anyone had any success in putting say an X1900 in there MBP?

That would be super and solve all my problems and make me the happiest mac owner ever.................ever : )

No. Next best thing is software overclocking

ATI Tools for windows does an excellent job in this regard. Of note, stay away from Omega drivers, they're fairly unstable and don't like the added strain of overclocking.

I went back to boot camp drivers and used ATI tool to overclock and had much better results compared to Omega drivers and overclocking, in regards to stability.
