Hi I am in india and I have a mid 2012 15 retina MBP with 2.6 ghz i7 8 gb ram and 1 gb graphics.
I had asked from a friend to get me a new logic board from US while he was travelling.
Sadly what he has got for me is the Late 2013 logic board with upgraded i7 2.8 ghx 16 gb ram and 2gb graphics.

Sorry for the silly question in advance.

CAn I swap/upgrade the two??
1) THe diffference I see is that the battery connectors are at different location, thus will it work if I get a newer battery for the newer logic?
2) also the audio headphone jack on the older logic has a seperate connector whereas the upgraded logic seems to have an onboard headphone jack.
3) are there any more issues (display connections or any other connections )which wont work?

Can i just get a new battery and some how get rid of the audio output jack from the old top case and fix the new logicboard with the onboard output jack.

Please guide if its possible to use it without spending a bomb.
Thanks in advance.

Attaching the logic board pic for reference.
