Just found this issue is resolved by itself! I don't know how to delete the post.
I recently switched from an Android phone to iPhone 13 PRO. I'd like to keep pics and videos to backup on Google Photos because:
- Their unique UI. Search for "Snow" and it would show those days with snow storms. iCloud photos can't do that.
- My wife uses Android phone and we both share same Google photos account.
However, .MOV videos (when uploaded to G photos), are reduced dramatically, despite the settings saying to keep the original quality.
I also tried to use my PC to upload the same .MOV video, and it is still reduced once it is on Google photos. I also checked all the related settings on G photos (web version) and it also has the setting that would say "don't reduce the quality".
Is there a way to upload high quality IOS videos to G. Photos?
