Resolved Can I use an IPad Pro 10.5" Smart Keyboard with an IPad Pro 9.7"?

Hi,

I am on holiday in the uk and I can purchase a British Smart Keyboard, I normally live in Thailand and there I'll only be able to purchase a US Smart Keyboard

I currently have a 9.7" iPad Pro which I will be upgrading to a 10.5" later this year so I want to buy the 10.5" Keyboard for future proofing

I'm just interested in knowing if it will work with my current iPad in the meantime

Obviously there will be an overlap around the edge but is the Smart Connector the same?

Also I have the apple case on the back of my iPad - will the Keyboard 'hinge' fit in the gap?

I believe everything I've read says the hinge is bigger on the 10.5, so it won't work with the case on (I don't believe), but any Apple smart keyboard can be used with any iPad Pro

The 9.7 apple smart keyboard works with a 10.5 so I assume the 10.5 version would work with a 9.7
