Hi there,

I am thinking of buying an apple tv, but before I do I need some advice,

I live part time in the UK and part-time in France. I have a UK bank account and a UK address.

When I am in France, I want to use my Apple TV. I heard that you can not download UK/USA movies or tv shows from the French I-tunes store. So, my question is, Can I live in France and use my UK I-tunes account to download movies to my tv when I am in France?

Will the download be blocked because they can see I am in france even though I use my UK I-tunes account....?:

Please help asap as I am literally about to confirm the apple order!

Cheers in advance.

Yes, you can do it, Apple does not (yet) check your physical location.
You have to have a store account for the respective country, but it does not (yet) matter from where you access the iTunes store on the ATV

Thanks Tom,

When you say they can't (yet) check to see the download origin, how long do you think this will last? Have they started clamping down, do you know?

cheers.

They probable won't check your physical location. The only factor that matters is that your credit card is from the same country as the iTMS.

Thanks all.

If anyone else has any experience, or knows anyone who has, in using their apple tv in europe that would be great.

Nice photos by the way Gorjan...

cheers.
