I’ve been running my iPhone on the developer betas of iOS 11 since June and none of them will allow me to pair with my Apple Watch again without “updating” the Apple Watch which it always fails to do. The Apple Watch isn’t running an iOS 11 beta because there is no public beta for Apple Watch. Has anyone been able to get this to work?

I’m on latest public beta and it’s been working. It doesn’t show up in the Bluetooth list but it’s tracking my activity and I get my notifications on my wrist like I’m supposed to.

I was for a while but then it got unpaired somehow and I had to reset the Apple Watch. It pairs with the phone again but I can’t get past setting it up because it says it needs to update, which it can’t do.

That’s odd. I was able to update my watch a few weeks ago, to the latest official software of course.

I had to re-pair mine a couple of weeks ago. Weather complication still doesn't work, but I just switched the complication to a different weather app.

Apple Watch can’t run iOS 11. Mine is on 4.0 and my iPhone is on 11.0 and everything operates as it should.

Yeah maybe I could take it in and say “this is screwed up” but I don’t know if they’d help me because my phone is running a beta.

I know that obviously the Watch doesn’t run on iOS but I don’t know if Watch OS 3.x is compatible with iOS 11 on iPhone.

Watch OS 3.x is fine with a phone on iOS 11, there was an issue with Dev beta 2 where the Watch was showing as unconnected in Bluetooth settings, but an unpair and repair fixed that and as far as I know it's fixed in a later iOS 11 dev beta anyway. I use my Watch on OS 3.x with my phone using iOS 11 on a daily basis.

I am running PB3 on phone and Watch on latest non beta version.
Only issue I have is with Apple Weather app, I need to manually select the location as the "Current Location" doesn't work. Probably related to Privacy tab changes in Settings.
