I'm looking to purchase a Samsung Blu-Ray player that can access NetFlix, but it needs an ethernet connection. I don't have a connection near my TV, but do have a wireless network running. Can I use the ethernet connection from my ATV ... if I run a connection from the ATV into the Samsung player will that work?

I don't believe you can use the ATV as a wireless bridge. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but the ethernet port is there simply to plug the ATV into a wired network. Once hardwired, wireless on the ATV is disabled.

If you have an Airport Express, you can use that as a bridge to connect the Samsung wirelessly. I used to run that kind of setup to connect my old SonicBlue DVR to my wireless network. Otherwise, you'll have to get some kind of wireless bridge to do the job.
