can i use my existing ssd drive in new/2014 mini?

I'm running a late 2009 2.26C2D. I upgraded it to a ssd drive a year or so ago. Can i reuse this drive in the new 2014 mini?

Sorry for the noob question - just not sure if the drive design and/or connectors changed.

btw- I realize that it would need to be wiped and reloaded etc.
