Can I use my iMac to double as a display for Xbox?

I had an idea to do this through an HDMI box, but I'm not too sure if it'll work. I mean, probably not, but I jsut wanted to see if it was at all possible.

And for the price of an eye-tv you may as well start thinking of a dedicated monitor

Don't forget about the latency either. Even in the supposed zero-latency mode it was painfaully noticeable.

Definite no. Just buy a cheap Dell display with HDMI-in, I think they have a 23-inch 1080p model with HDMI for about $200 or something like that. Isn't going to be fantastic quality of course for that price, but it's only for games, and you're clearly on a budget.
