Hi guys,

I'm looking at buying the latest macbook pro 2021 and am wondering if I could use my 27" iMac (late 2015) as an external monitor with it?
Some sites state that I cannot. I'm not sure why I wouldn't be able too as it has a Thunderbolt port.

Cheers!

Unfortunately You can't.
iMac 2009-2010 can be used with TDM through dispalyport, and 2011 -2014 can be used with TDM through thunderbolt. And you have to use MacOS High Sierra (10.13.6) or earlier in your iMac.
Target Dispaly Mode=TDM
