Hello. I am now in Hong Kong. I try to decide between the latest iPhone and the just announced iPod Touch. My main purpose of buying is that I need a PDA with wireless internet access to webpages. I am also interested in using Skype for free sms/phone. In addition, I want to be able to watch videos clearly and comfortably. I already have a cell phone with a camera in it. So, there is no plan to use the iPhone as a phone for the time being. I know that it costs a lot to use the iPhone as a phone. Can I buy the latest iPhone without a phone subscription? Will the iPhone still work?

All you need to do is activate it. There are a couple of ways to go about it. I haven't read the rules for the iPhone forum so I don't know if I can talk about the ways to do it.
