Hi all, my first post, and a question.
I have a late 2013 MBP retina i5 2.4 GHz with only 4Gb ram and 128Gb storage, don’t get me wrong - I love it and although the storage is limited I have plenty external storage that I bump bigger files onto and can manage fine. BUT I’m waiting for a Mac Mini (late 2014, i5 2.8 Ghz, 8Gb ram, 256Gb storage) arriving which I bought on eBay.
I believe that the only configuration of that model of Mini with 256 Gb storage came with an Apple PCIe “stick” rather than a 2.5” device. (The seller is clueless)
I intend to upgrade the Mini with a 1Tb NVME which will free up the 256 stick.
My question then is, will the 256 be a drop-in replacement for the 128 in my MBP? (I understand about erasing the drive & reinstalling Big Sur, that doesn’t faze me). I hope that’ll work because it’s an easy upgrade which will make my MacBook just that little bit more useful.

Cheers,

@ApolloBoy Thanks for that, I would have been surprised if the answer was that it didn't fit, but I can now look forward to giving the MBP a little extra space.
