Can iCloud photo sharing adequately replace Flickr?

I've gotten tired of bouncing around photo hosts. As I'm paying, by choice, for extra iCloud storing perhaps I can simplify all the way down to icloud.

The main question for me would be:

Can I post photos in forums, such as here, using bbcode? Like I can with photos hosted on flickr.

I have no idea but it's a good question. How about trying it and see what happens? Or have you already tried it?

You can share photos and videos online, but only if they are added to shared album, with "Public Website" option turned on. FYI, shared album downscales photos and videos to lower resolution.

Individual photos and videos not added to shared albums can be shared at full resolution, but their link expires after 30 days.
