Hi, I downloaded the iOS 10 beta and was so happy about it. I'm just wondering, I know it sounds silly but can an IOS beta actually bricked an iPhone? I've heard that it's possible if the beta is expired, but is it really true? And if so, can you fix it still and restore it if that happens?

It's possible, sure. But so can officially released iOS (just look at error 53 back in iOS 9.2?)

It's not exactly likely to happen though. But it can.

There are always ways to fix it though. Through restores and DFU's.

I've been using betas since iOS 5 and never had my device bricked. It is possible, but using iTunes and DFU mode you can pretty much fix everything (except when you can't like error 53)
