Can it be setup to not leave App Store after downloading app?

Is there a way to download apps from my 4S and set it up so that after they download it stays in the App Store instead of taking me out of it?

I thought that with ios 5 it was supposed to keep you in the app store with updates and purchases but I don't see that happening.
