The police can track it.

You should contact them.

How long has it been since your sister shipped it?

it's been 2 weeks shipped from washington state to alabama, i have a brother who is a police officer in California he says the police probably cant do anything because we dont know where its missing from(state) or if its just lost in shipping, thats why i want to know if apple can track it if its being used.

Well your best bet would probably be <insert shocked expression here> to call apple!

Did you consider going to UPS with the tracking info? It's in their care, they're responsible for it.

I wouldn't waste my time trying to find it if it was being used by someone else. If it was never delivered, it's on UPS, and they know it. They'll have a certain time requirement to allow them to locate it, but they WILL make good ultimately.

thanks johnNotbeatle, i think getting U P S to pay up and replace it is gonna take a long time:mad::mad: owell gota do what i gota do.:apple::apple:

I'm sorry to hear about your dismay. You can't allow UPS to get away with this. They will act fast to retrieve your iMac or replace the value of it, it's their fault and they have no business making someone wait a long time to get reimbursed for a mistake they made.

If you never accepted delivery (signed for the package), then it's still in the hands of UPS, or a dishonest employee. Their problem, not your. Call UPS customer service. Then call Apple customer service and tell them to get on UPS to deliver the item purchased directly from Apple and handed over to UPS.
