I have a Mac with iTunes on, with music and movies on. I now have a smart TV. It has a media server app that can view content from a DLNA server.

Can my Mac and iTunes on it, serve as a DLNA server so from my TV I can look at the music and movies and play them?

If you google iTunes dlna server you'll see several options/addons for iTunes to help
