We are trying to create a photo slideshow for a funeral that must be in Power Point for them to show in the church. It appears we can save the final product as Power Point. I want to be sure it will run correctly on their PC and play automatically when opened. Or actually, we want it to start playing when we click the Play button and continue moving through photos automatically after that.

I clicked the Document button on Keynote and checked Auto Play on Open, but it did not work. In the program, I click Play and it just sits there on one slide.

We need to get this ready for the church quickly. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Basic functionality will work, advanced features like auto play and specific animations and font styles might not.

I cannot even get the slideshow to play when I click Play. It just sits on one photo. Has to be manually clicked.
How can I fix this? Makes no sense.

The slide show plays but I think auto timing doesn’t work. Not too sure to be honest.

All of my presentations require me to move the slides manually. Never had to do it.

If saving as a Power Point file isn't working try to save it as a video.

File > Export To > Quicktime... will save as a mpeg-4 file with extension .m4v (pick correct options for your needs). Timing and transitions might be forced to the same duration (or not?) but should be retained in the movie.

The video should be playable on any computer with its default media player I think. Or if needed you could possibly create new power point file (on the church computer) and insert the video as the content on the slide. Please do a test beforehand as I can't guarantee that any of this will work in your situation.

Thank you for the reply. I finally found a edit button to click with an option to make it play continuously.
