Can make calls but not receive

Hi All,
Firstly I am sorry if this has been asked before but I searched and could not find anything.

I have the Iphone 8GB 3G version 2.0.2

I am able to make calls, send txt & receive txt but cannot receive calls, when someone calls me they get the "sorry but the users phone is unavailable" message. I have been right through the settings but cannot for the life of me figure out what is wrong. Someone said it may be that I have diverts on, but as far as I know I do not.

Can anyone help please

Solution

Yes check diverts. You also want to make sure that you do not have call forwarding on to an incorrect # which would cause that problem. Also make sure you are not restricting incoming calls. If all else fails make an appt online with the genius bar at the apple store.

If they cant solve it then they will give you a new phone. Best of luck!

I have checked that forwarding is off & restrictions are off. Don't know how to check diverts, cannot find it.

You should call at&t customer care. There are some situations where recieving calls or sms texting just magically gets deleted from your account. Just call them see what they say.
