i found a stuck pixel near the middle of my screen today (probably after cleaning the screen last night with a soft cloth...too much pressure??) anyway, it's really tiny and i can live with it if i have too; it really only shows up when i watch movies and there are dark parts of the screen.

but i read that you can "massage" a pixel back to life and was wondering if that could make it worse and create more stuck pixels?

thanks!

Yes! I've massaged several pixels back to life - just massage away without being violent with the screen. You will need to apply some pressure though and be persistent.

Good luck!

It's unlikely that you'll make it worse, unless the surrounding pixels are also defective or weak as well, which is rare. Give it a try, I find that lcds hold under a good amount of abuse.
