Hi.

Considering to trade my 2019 MBP 15" with throttling i9 for the new 16" M1 Max with best gpu.

Did anyone try to game a little via Bootcamp?
I can go for base model for work, but if it works well, I'd rather use it at home as well.

Thanks a lot!

No,

best game it plays for sure, best game ever is with DeeZ!

Triple Rated at the highest frame rates with no ghosting at all. Closest to reality than any game I've ever seen, nothing comes close. no need for BootCamp either.

NOT DayZ......

There is no longer boot camp. Your best option is Windows for Arm insider preview via Parallels. Then trying to play via that.

Performance for games doesnt appear to be all that great, so I wouldn’t expect to be gaming via windows on Mac any time soon

PS: As I just wrote in another thread "if you need a powerful Mac for other reasons and then use it for occasional gaming, sure, go ahead. But buying a powerful Mac to play games is not recommended by anybody. A console, a Windows PC, heck, even a PC with Linux and Steam, are all better alternatives when gaming is a primary concern."
