Does the iPad have personalization and separate user accounts like the Mac OS?
Do they expect you to buy an iPad for everyone in your family?

Does it also have Parental Controls?

There's no separate accounts. There are parental controls. If you've ever used an iPhone/iPod touch: it's just like that, but bigger.

It's Apple: they expect you have buy a different one for at home, at school/work, at the coffee shop, and on vacation… for each member of the family.

One of my only gripes. I cannot set up my email because I share this device with my girlfriend. I wish that you could set up multiple users for email.

This issue is something I can see Apple dealing with in 4.0. I mean, with the way that they're portraying the iPad in their feature videos, sharing it in the house seems like the right thing to do.

You can just add the accounts for the other user and then just turn the accounts on or off.

Just a suggestion been doing that here with email.

No Sharing

This ought to be a non starter for a lot of people then.

These devices have our PERSONAL information on them.
Even if you bought 2 you could easily get them mixed up and be receiving someone else's private emails by accident.

I guess if everyone synced their 32 GBs of music and podcasts on there then you wont have a lot of room for apps and books and the like.
Maybe that's why Home Sharing was added to Itunes so you can stream music and movies from there for who ever is surfing the web on it.
