I have an original 1.83 GHz Intel Core Duo Macbook. I have a Sharp Aquos 32" 720p TV and I am curious if there will be any issues using it to watch movies from my Macbook. I have connected it via a VGA adapter and had no issues, but I don't want to fry my graphics card. I already use the Macbook with a 19" Samsung monitor which is 1440x900 resolution (higher than the TV) with no problem. Any input is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The original Macbook isn't affected by the same HDCP issues as the new Macbooks.

Make sure you play around with the display settings on your Mac to get the correct resolution.
My 52" Aquos, when first plugged in, looked awful until I messed with the settings on my Mac.

)!A 23" cinema display is 1920x1200, and worked just fine off my old MacBook Pro 17" from 2003, in addition to it's own screen at the same time.
You should have no problems at all running 720p.
D'oh! Yes...current one is MacBook Pro. OK, so the 17" powerbook from 2003 ran a 23" cinema display just fine!
