I'm sorry if this is addressed somewhere but I've searched and can't find it. When I want to email a photo, it used to ask me the size before I sent it, now it just emails it, and seems to be a small size file. I've seen old posts about copy and paste into email getting you a full size file but that didn't work either. Am I missing something?

thanks,
Courtney

Still asks for me, I even tried it with a small file (Screenshot) to see if maybe it just doesn't ask for smaller files.

Which phone / OS / provider?

I think you may be right just
I tried to email a screen capture and it didn't ask me what size to make it.

Then tried a separate email with a photo I had just taken and it did give me all the file size options.

it's a 3GS, AT&T, and this is new since IOS5. I used to get the 'file size' as an option when I emailed a photo. Now nothing comes up, it just puts the photo into an email when I click on the little 'forward' button in a photo. When I receive the photo on my computer at home, the file size is running about 200 kb.

thanks!

Screen shots are small enough so it just sends them full-sized.

OP - Is this a photo you took with the camera on the phone?

AAK. I just tried hooking up the phone to the computer to see the various file sizes and found a picture that's bigger to try. It did work when the picture was a large file size. So now I don't know why some of the pictures I took are small file size and some are large, but at least I know the option to select a file size is still there if the photo is large enough.

Are you taking the photos using the stock Camera.app or a 3rd party app?
