I have recently upgraded to 3.0 on my iphone 3g put i can not shh into my themes any more. Cyber duck gives me this error: Permission denied (SSH_FX_PERMISSION_DENIED: The user does not have sufficient permissions to perform the operation.). I can move around and download from my iphone but when i try to add or delete an item it gives me that error. Can someone give me some insight in what is going one with my phone?

the permissions are rwxr-xr-r (755) i have tried fugu and cyberduck i can not change the permissions because i don't have permission. and check this out it is only the themes folder i dont have permission too

i just tried to install a theme to my iphone through mobile terminal and i still do not have permission to the themes folder.

i log in using the username mobile, wow i feel so stupid, but why couldn't i move the files from my download folder to my themes folder using mobile terminal.

Jailbreaking does not automatically install OpenSSH, you still have to do that. Worst case scenario, connect a USB cable and use one of the browser programs.

The folder has permissions set to allow users (mobile) to read and execute, but only root can write to that folder.
