I'm having an odd problem on MacBook Pro M3 with Spotlight. Spotlight seems to have no trouble finding things, but when I right/option click on one of the results the *only* available action is to 'share' the search result. I'm pretty sure I used to have other options. Right now I don't want to open/edit a specific file, but I need to know *where* it is on my Mac's filesystem. I seem to recall being able to "Open enclosing folder" or similar in Spotlight, but I'm just not seeing that option any more.

Does anyone know what might have changed to disable the open the file location or how to re-enable it?

I confess I've never thought to right-click on Spotlight results, but yes share is all there is.

However, you can see the app in Finder by using ⌘+R or ↵

They do keep making Spotlight worse, imo.

It has been this way for years. Either click on the result to open it or choose "Search in Finder" where it will be highlighted with the path.
