Can people keep & sell iDevices if Apple infringes a patent?

Let's say a Supreme Court judge found Apple to be infringing on a patent with the iPhone 4S & the iPad 2 & 3. Would people have to give up their iPad 2 or iPad 3 or iPhone 4S? Would they be allowed to sell the devices on Craigslist?

I think whoever owns any of the devices would be allowed to keep or sell the devices. After all, it is theirs. As a matter of fact, people would probably be willing to pay more money just to buy a used device because they wouldn't be able to find it at an Apple store or on apple.com

Perhaps you're confused about how the Supreme Court works. Judges cannot make unilateral decisions on cases, and patent cases rarely make it all the way to the Supreme Court in the first case.

Anyway, it's virtually inconceivable that the Court would order everyone to give up their iPads or iPhones.
